This sale promises to be one you will never forget. Every room, the garage and the 3 storage buildings outside are full of Hidden Treasures. Your hunt begins as you enter the first room of the house. One of the first things you will see is the wonderful collection of paperweights, what a great Christmas gift. The small round oak table and two pressed back chairs are perfect for the small kitchen as well as the very nice corner cabinet filled with beautiful china from austria ( complete service for 12 ).
The mantle clock works but needs a little cleaning and some TLC. The fireplace set , screen, tools and andirons are looking for a new home. The two tall chalk figures might be old, don’t know for sure. The pretty little vintage doll is completely dressed in one dollar bills and is sealed in her case. The stereograph viewer and box of cards are in wonderful condition and would make a perfect gift. First issue stamps/envelopes are like new from the 1960’s at Wallops Island. Beautiful vintage greeting cards are perfect for a collection.
The bedroom has more treasures including an almost new full size bed with frame and headboard. One of the best surprises is the Morris Chair with stool attached and the victorian rocker. The armoire has shelves that can be removed and made for hanging clothes. The Gone with the Wind Lamp has never been electrified and is hand painted. There are several more oil lamps that are original. The charming dressing table would the perfect gift for the young lady in your life. Boxes of jewelry, including some gold & sterling silver, Masonic Eastern Star jewelry and other collectibles.
If you are looking for a new Dining table and chairs we have the perfect one for you. This solid wood table and six chairs look like new. Not a scratch or mark on the top of the table. Several Aunt Jemima banks are in all sizes. There are vintage toys and banks as well as vintage books. Lots of almost new novels will make great gifts and will be priced to take home. The lovely piano scarf would make a great shawl to wear in the evening with your best dress. The tall oak dresser is just one of several oak dressers and are a perfect addition to any bedroom.
As you tour the garage you will find several sizes of crocks, some as large as 5 gallons, galvanized pails and some iron cookware as well as a very large black iron cooking pot to fill with flowers or to make a great Halloween brew in. Un-opened Playboy Magazines from the 1990’s and more novels are waiting for you. Hunting season is here and we have the perfect chest freezer and refrigerator. The sheds all hold more treasures for your shopping pleasure.
There are two vintage pump organs that need special attention but would make a wonderful addition to your home. They will be priced to take home. The Troy Bilt rototiller needs some TLC, but will be great to have next spring for the garden as well as the Bolens walk behind tractor. Also a couple of fishing poles, a Sea King outboard motor, a gun cabinet and old sewing machines, including a treadle.
There are many treasures still uncovered in the sheds so wear your digging shoes and bring your gloves so you can help uncover some of them. The weather is perfect for a trip to Chincoteague so come and enjoy the day with us.
