This very nice Onancock home is nestled in a pine tree forest, still standing due to our very fortunate escape from the latest hurricanes. St Frances is waiting by the door to go home and live in your yard.
There are many Hidden Treasures in this house of witch one that we uncovered is the early 1900’s lawyer bookcase in the living room. It is made by Globe – Wernike. It has 5 stacked sections with working glass doors. It is in exceptionaly good condition. Because it stacks it is very easy to move and does not take up a lot of room. This book case would be a perfect addtion to an office or home and would be a perfect Christmas gift.
Hunting season is upon us and the very large upright freezer is ready to go home and fill up with your game and fish.
Because winter is coming soon it is always nice to have a good book or two to curl up with and we have a room full of terrific novels to keep you warm and entertained.
In the Christmas room you will find some vintage ornaments and a large offering of nice Holliday items and of course really lovely wreaths.
The roll top desk would be another perfect addition to your office. There are plenty of cubby holes to stash your important memos and the roll up top locks securely. The new to look old radio also has a turn table for playing all those oldies but goodies.
If getting up out of a chair is difficult to do we have two lift chair recliners that will take care of that problem. They will also be good for taking an afternoon nap.
The kitchen is full of baking equipment: such as cast iron skellets, crockery, cook books and lots more, just in time for the holidays. This is the ideal sale to find all those extra needed kitchen items
There will be bedroom furniture, linnens and blankets, a collection of “ty” stuffed animals
Two great dark green andirondack rockers are on the deck with a matching dark green table for outside meals. There are several small wooden benches and a fun wooden glider swing.
Of course the sheds always have hidden surprises and assorted tools for cleaning up leaves and debri before the snow falls again. Several electric garden tools and a very lightly used push lawn mower (grass cutter). Also in one shed we found some vintage games and toys that will appeal to some collectors and an interesting wooden crate from Russia.
Be sure to view the attached photos for a good example of what will be available on Saturday.
This is the beginnging of several more sales this fall so come join us for the bargain shopping fun.
