This is one of the nicest kept homes we have ever held an Estate Sale in and the contents certainly show it. Be sure to enjoy all the photographs… lots to see.
The lady of the house loved books and we have one of the largest selection of wonderful books that is meant to please everybody. In the collection are many Eastern Shore and Chesapeake bay books and there will probably be one that is just right for you. There will be Harry Potter books, leather-like bound “Jane Eyre”, “Gulliver’s Travels” and much more. Forget the ‘books on tape’, and the Kindle-type electronic readers… come and feel the pages and enjoy reading into your wise and enjoyable imagination.
There are antique beds, marble top wash stands, a piano desk, a partners desk, several dressers, a shaving stand, display cabinets, beautiful secretary desk, china cabinet, a pie safe and so much more.
Included in this selection of furniture is the beautiful round Mission Oak table with 6 chairs and a leaf. It is in like new condition, just like she purchased it yesterday. In addition to this beautiful table there is a Mission Oak hutch with lighted glass door cupboards for all your beautiful china and other treasures.
The Acrosonic piano by Baldwin is in very good condition, the wood is beautiful and it is looking for a new home. It will come complete with music and a metronome for practicing. Nice artwork can be found on almost every wall, including four wonderful Thelma Peterson signed and numbered prints of the Eastern Shore, several wood-block prints and possibly some other originals.
Christmas is not just around the corner, but you will find some items well worth keeping to display next December. Also dolls and unique like-new stuffed animals and a Religious corner with art, icons and figurines. Be sure to admire the extravagant “Lord of The Rings” Chess set and the two Roman style female statues and of course an estate sale would not be complete without some Longaberger baskets.
Very nice quilts and throws to keep you warm & comfy in cooler weather. Two computers and two computer desks, paper shredders and a printer round out the office items. Also a Kenmore matching washer & dryer in what appears to be in very good condition.
The garage houses many more books, glassware, outdoor objects, a mid size Weber charcoal BBQ grill, complete with charcoal and a fire starter. Nice indoor trash bins.
A small Hot Wheels bicycle complete with training wheels and a helmet for the youngster just learning to ride a two wheeler.
Behind the garage is a good sized storage building housing some nice early 1900’s and mid century furniture and interesting accessories.
Come take a walk with us through this wonderful home and discover the Hidden Treasures in each room. We promise two days of shopping pleasure. The home will be for sale so be sure to ask for flyers with all the information.
