Numbers for admittance to the sale will be handed out at 8:00 A.M. on Saturday and 11:30 A.M. on Sunday. You will be admitted in the order of the number that you received. One number per person. Please be sure to bring help to carry any large items to your car.
Wonderful Holidays to all you happy people. Rare-Fine and crew would like to invite you to one of the best, fun filled, extravagant Estate Sales we have ever hosted.
Extravagant due to the owner buying about every sort of woodworking tool imaginable, and often more than one. Drill presses, band saws, table saws, power drills (I think we counted eight), some almost new and all working as they should. All housed in a wonderful large “Carpenters’ Gallery”.
The house itself is warm and wonderful with extremely nice furnishings including two corner cabinets, one cherry Henkel, lots of Christmas decor, sixteen rooms all with items ready to go home with you to add to your special season’s activities. Beautiful dinning furniture and accessories, a complete walk-in pantry, artwork worth collecting, cameras both film & digital, many Asian-style carpets. The office houses not only a large quantity of office supplies and books, but several plaques awarded by the Navy. Two model ships, a copper Port ship’s lantern. Among the furnishings you will find an assortment of fine pigs, including some of heavy cast iron. Music? Wow does this house have everything you need from quality electronic components/speakers to CDs and, yes, vinyl is back and there must be hundreds of musical albums. The owner has music components in every workplace to enjoy his tunes in almost every room.
A few steps up the hill brings you to the three bay “mechanic’s garage” with a nicely restored 1929 Model A Ford that is available as well as a good selection of assorted wrenches and other tools. In the 3rd bay there are all kinds of wood pieces from molding, scraps from past woodworking projects and about a half dozen full sheets of plywood. This is where all the gardening tools are stored, chain saws, electric and gas operated hedge trimmers, a multi-collection of Black & Decker “Fire Storm” cordless tools.
So come and join us for this weekend’s sale, one you won’t forget and pick up some nice gifts for family and friends and especially for yourself.
Due to very narrow roads please be aware to park on the house side of the road to allow emergency vehicles to pass if necessary. The address is fairly easy to find:
From Highway 13 at Belle Haven Rd. in Exmore (El Maguey Mexican Restaurant). Turn West on Belle Haven Rd. to Shields Bridge Rd. (Old Phillips Hardware) Turn left on Shields Bridge Rd. (Crossing Shields Bridge) to Hillsborough Dr.
(Hillsborough Subdivision). Turn right on Hillsborough Dr. to Dogwood Ln. Turn right on Dogwood Ln. to Pine Cove Circle. House is around the bend on the right number 35255.
