What a wonderful way to spend a summer day in Chincoteague.

This home has a surprise in every room.
The kitchen cupboards are full. We even saw several pieces of vintage pyrex in color. A nice wooden kitchen table and four chairs are perfect for even the smallest of kitchens. A wooden dough bowl, several crocks of many sizes, and two very large brown apothecary bottles make great collectibles. If you love cook books this is the sale for you. There is a whole cupboard full.

The dining room has a beautiful mahogany table and four chairs that look like new. The very large china cabinet is filled with china, crystal and collectibles. The Noritake china is ‘Chanossa’ and is at least a service for 12 with all the serving pieces. What a super wedding present this would make. The cup and saucer collection is beautiful and each one would be lovely gift. And the antique drop leaf table is looking for a new home.

The bedrooms are filled with beautiful vintage and new linens, a baby cradle from the early 1900’s and a metal doll house from the 1950’s complete with furniture, dolls and accessories. Also you will find rooms filled with interesting collectables.

The attic has been emptied and the contents are residing in the enclosed garage. We have just started exploring this large room and at the time of this writing we have just scratched the surface in starting to uncover many treasures. So far we have seen some children’s vintage furniture, an antique treadle sewing machine, some vintage dolls, and a huge assortment of unknowns.

More treasures await in the shed in the back yard. Vintage gardening tools, enamel pans, granite ware, boxes of Christmas with maybe some vintage ornaments, mid century outdoor furniture, a bucket full of Geese and duck decoys for all you hunters, a Honda lawnmower and so many things hidden by boxes that we will be uncovering.

Come join us in the fun of this special two days at Chincoteague. The restaurants are open for the summer so there should be some good food and ice cream to keep you happy after a day of shopping.

What a great opportunity to tour one of the most beautiful homes on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Come and spend your Memorial Day weekend with us going on a Treasure Hunt. Every room in this wonderful Parksley Victorian home will surprise you with treasures of the past.

As you enter the home you will see the beautiful Bookcase desk filled with antique pewter, a mahogany card table with a lovely oil lamp, the very nice Spinet piano desk, and the very large hooked rug.

Going into the dining room you will find the two bow front china cabinets filled with glassware (some Heisey, cut glass and china) we also found Weller, Roseville, Fulper and Nialok pottery. Some beautiful oil lamps and reverse painted lamps adorn the marble top tables. On the Dining room table is a set of Holmes and Edwards silver plate flatware that would make any bride proud. Several pieces of sterling and silver plate. Check out these and many more surprises in the attached photos.

The kitchen has some very nice items. There are two Griswold cast iron pans, one is a frying pan and there is a Dutch Oven, both are ready to take home for some great cooking. The set of Francisian Desert Rose Dinnerware is like new and we have the original boxes to make them a great gift.

Upstairs are Vintage Christmas ornaments, oak dressers (one is Eastlake) and several braided rugs. The real surprise is the large room filled with tables of oil lamps of all sizes and vintages, assorted copper ware, silver-plate, and the shelves of cut glass and unique pottery.

There is a basement shop with assorted tools and of course more Hidden Treasures.

Because there is so much to see and buy, this will be a two day sale. The first day, Saturday we will open at 9:00 A.M. and close at 2:00 P.M. Sunday we will open at 12:00 noon and close at 3:00 P.M. And remember we take all major credit cards, checks and of course cash.

Come visit this wonderful location and a beautiful home filled with delightful treasures. This is a chance to do some special shopping for Mother’s Day, Weddings and Graduation.

As you enter the home you will see beautiful art on the walls, both prints and originals. In the dining room is a fabulous dining table and 8 chairs with 3 leaves and pads. This table will open to seat at least 12 people. There are several lovely table cloths to fit this gargantuan table. The matching china closet will hold all your favorite china with storage below. There are several pieces of Gorham pewter including plates, goblets, coffee and tea sets.

If you are looking for some really nice gifts we have the perfect ones for you. We will have several pieces of 14 kt gold, both yellow and white. Some have beautiful stones and diamonds.

There is a nice sofa and matching love seat, perfect for even the smallest of living rooms. The two off white wing chairs are perfect for curling up with a your favorite book,  of which we have a large number of great books to choose from including several rare Eastern Shore books. The lighted display cabinet is perfect for all your collectibles. In the den you will find a the perfect oversized French style chair and ottoman in almost new condition. The lamps are beautiful and the shades are custom made. There are shelves of collectibles and  gift items. On the walls are two antique clocks that may need a little TLC.  The kitchen has many more Hidden Treasures including a wonderful open china cabinet.  The kitchen cupboards are still full and we are not sure how many more Hidden Treasures we are yet to find.

Because the sofa and love seat took up so much room we moved them to the garage as well as the very large armoire and terrific queen size bed that will make your bedroom very special. The really cute little mahogany drop front desk would be perfect for your bedroom as well as the matching dressing table.

One very nice treasure is the bright orange Cannondale ladies bike. If bathroom remodeling is in future we have just what you are looking for. There is a double hanging designer vanity in glass by Robern. All is new and never opened. It is a very contemporary and beautiful set. We will have some pictures for you to see at the sale. It will be priced to please.

The setting of this lovely home is uniquely beautiful with a lovely pool and on the water just off Shields Bridge. Our pink and black signs will guide you.
