Welcome to Spring. As you walk into this wonderful restored Victorian home you will feel like you are walking into a very nice art gallery. There are beautiful painting on all the walls. Some are original water colors and oils, some are first artist proofs and some are prints. There will be a piece of art to please all tastes.

In addition to beautiful art there are four exceptional area rugs with an Asian flair and a selection of Victorian style furniture. The mahogany dining table and 6 chairs are perfect for the upcoming holiday. There are several pieces of handmade copper enamel jewelry that will be a great addition to your spring wardrobe. The two wooden hand made toys are wonderful for the child in you or a child you know. The yellow Ford backhoe with front end loader is just right for collecting agriculturist. The brass compass is the perfect gift for the boater in your life and the beautiful collection of boating books will add special meaning to the gift.

The almost new Mini Kota Riptide 55 electric trolling motor is perfect for all your spring, summer and fall fishing. The RCA wooden table radio is from the 1950’s and will be a great addition to a mid century home. Among the tools are gardening and workshop tools, ladders and shelving for your shop or garage. There are still items yet for us to unpack that should prove very interesting, so be sure to spend the day with this Rare-Fine Estate Sale.

This is the first of many sales to come and one of the nicest. We will all remember this sale for a long time.

Happy New Year to all.

This is a moving sale and a great chance to get out of the house and do away with cabin fever for a few hours.

This will be a true treasure hunt for all, even our crew, at the time of this writing we haven’t been able to get to the house due to the snow storm.
But at our 1st initial visit we saw a set of vintage Guardian Aluminum cookware that looks like new, a set of Pfaltzcraft Brown Drip dinner ware that is new. In the attic was a vintage portable sewing machine and a fabulous queen size brass bed complete with rails. There is a full size brass bed as well. If you are a collector of beer steins then you will have a good time, there is an assortment vintage Budweiser steins.

There is a very nice twin platform bed with linens, a leather recliner and great off white bedroom or side chair. There is small wooden table with four chairs that would be perfect for the kitchen or small dining area. The octangular table would make a great game table.
There is a very nice collection of jewelry and may be some gold and silver, we have not had a chance to check it out.
Because they are moving out of state, they are probably leaving some plants and maybe an outdoor treat or two.
The vintage dressing table may need a little TLC but would be a great addition to a little or big girls room.

The sale will go on come rain, snow or sun so be sure to come.
Please park on the road, not the driveway and watch for the deep ditches on the side of the road.
The driveway will be used only for pickup.

There will lots of Pink and Black directional signs so be sure to watch for them and check out the few pictures we were able to take.

Black Friday Sale

This will be a two day sale.

Sign – up sheet for order of admittance to sale available at 8:00 A.M. day of sale.

Black Friday is the day to shop and oh my do we have the place for you to shop. There are two houses, a large four stall tractor barn, a two car garage and a green house full of Hidden Treasures.

In the main house you will find a player piano and piano rolls. The piano is very old and needs some TLC but what a wonderful addition to your home and a joy to watch it play itself with all the old songs of yesteryear. The lady of the house enjoyed restoring old trunks and she did a fabulous job with the two we have to sell.

There are several pieces of mid century furniture including a glass top table for your patio, a three piece sectional, several lamps and some bedroom furniture. The wood burning stoves (there are two) will keep you toasty this winter and should keep the heating bills low. The kitchen holds many surprises including some old cook books and some special cooking items like grandma used to use.

The beautiful Nesco roast air oven is brand new as well as the NuWave cooker. There is a beautiful Alvin Chateau Rose Sterling flatware from the 1940’s. What wonderful gifts for the Holidays. The washer and dryer and refrigerator are also for sale. For all you seamstresses we have several sewing machines and stacks of fabric, some even from the 1960’s.

The beautiful bride doll from the late 1950’s looks like she just came out of a box at Christmas. If you love Christmas this is the place to shop. We have found several boxes of vintage Christmas decorations that are all intact and still in their original boxes.

There is sheet music from the turn of the century and a charming vintage music cabinet to keep them in. The five board pine blanket chest is perfect to put at end of your bed, or the 1950’s cedar chest is a great addition to a mid century home.

As we travel to their second house right next door, you will find a Shabby Chic collectors dream. There are stacks of chairs waiting to be taken home and given a new life, tables that need a coat of paint, and vintage windows that would add to your garden’s decor and many things we a have yet to uncover.

The gentleman that owned these homes and property owned a hardware store years ago and brought home numerous boxes of new items, tools, hardware, etc. when his store closed so there are are number of very interesting vintage hardware items to search through.

The tractor shed and garage will be a mans paradise.We are still going through and know we will find any number of Hidden Treasures. Two of the treasures in the tractor shed are the Dewalt radial arm saw and Mama Bear wood burning stove.

Outside are several riding mowers that may need a little love and care, but at least one looks to be almost new. The Easy Go golf cart will be great for in town travel or covering a large piece of property.

Outside we uncovered a boat trailer that needs a little TLC. The green house may bring any number of surprises. There is even a 1950’s house trailer in the back that needs a lot of work but may be worth looking at.

This is by far one of the most interesting sales we have ever had.

Chincoteague is very close and there will be wonderful restaurants open for your dining pleasure so be sure to come and spend the day. Remember this is a two day sale so plan to spend your weekend with us. Look for the pink and black signs to guide you there.
