Numbers will be passed out at 8:00 A.M. for order of admittance to sale.

This Unique Contemporary water front home is a showcase for an awesome shopping experience for all. 

As you enter the home you will feel like you have entered a very fine art exhibit. There are several wonderful pieces of art and something to please every taste. Most are original but you will find some prints scatered in. One of the most outstanding pieces is the large life size painting over the fireplace in the master bed room.

There are outstanding articles of furniture especially the very large corner cabinet that is filled with an assortment of Rose Medallian china pieces. In the dining room is one of the most interesting servers we have ever seen. There are several pieces of silver, some sterling and some lovely china that we saw peeking out of boxes yet to be unpacked. 

In the master bedroom is a closet of beautiful desinger ladies clothes, shoes, hand bags and scarves. The clothes are size 8 and the shoes are a ladies size 10 AA. The other closet is complete with men’s clothes, some suits and winter jackets.

Very nice twin beds with beautiful mattresses that look new. They are perfect for a guest room or children’s room. There will be linens and matching bedspreads to complete these beds. Several other linens will be available as well as some very nice quilts and comforters.

In the library and master bedroom are shelves of wonderful books. There may even be some first editions. We will going through the books and will keep you updated on what we find.

Several nice rugs cover the floors. There is a very large room size oriental rug in the master bedroom that is showing some wear but is still very beautiful. Additional lovely smaller rugs are scattered throughout the house.

You will find several flat screen TV’s in assorted sizes. There is even one in the kitchen. The cupboards in the kitchen are filled with a large assortment of every kind of glass for every occasion and need. We have not yet discovered all of the other Hidden Treasures that this complete kitchen holds.

As you walk outside to see the water you will find some lovely flowers and a beautiful garden. Nestled in the garden are two concrete bird baths and a wonderful large blue bottle tree.

Be sure to check back regularly for updated pictures as we unpack the many boxes and bins that we have discovered. 

The parking is very very difficult so please car pool when you can. There is only room for 15 cars at a time to park by the house. If you chose to walk the 1/4 mile to the house you may.

Numbers will be given out at 8:00AM for this sale. It is a one day sale so bring your lunch and enjoy the day with us.

Numbers – for admittance to the sale will be available at 8:00 A.M. day of sale.

Mothers Day and Fathers Day are right around the corner and this is the perfect sale for both occasions. 

If Mom and Dad are readers we have a wonderful collection of both antique and newer books. There are books on History of Virginia and the Civil War. Antique books that in beautiful condition. A terrific collection of Southern Living Cook books and other assorted cook books. Newer novels in almost new condition and a large number of coffee table books that would make great gifts.

 One of the best surprises of all are the wonderful tools in the garage. At this time we have not uncovered all of them, but we will give you a sample of the very nice Matabo professional tools that we have seen so far, better yet check out the attached pictures. There are many boxes to unpack so you will be just as surprised as we are on Saturday. So many of these will be great gifts for Dad.

The dining room table and 6 chairs have an extra leaf and could easily seat 8. There is a server and buffet along with a very nice china cupboard with lots of storage for all your special china, crystal and silver. This is a dining room that could make you very proud. 

The Seth Thomas grandfather clock works and has a beautiful chime and will be a lovely addition to any living room or foyer.

In the living room you will see the dark brown leather reclining sofa and the two attached reclining theater seats. The large entertainment center will hold a large television and has lighted display cabinets on either side. 

An abundance of art grace the walls. One really interesting piece is the Willie Crockett print of the Onancock Wharf. There are some original pieces of art and all will be priced very reasonably and ready to go to a new home. The beautiful copper creation bird has never been outside and looks new as well the nice stained glass window hanging between the kitchen and the dining room.

At the time of this writting, the kitchen has surprises still to be discovered in the cabinets. There is a set of all clad cookware, several small appliances and a wonderful tea pot collection for starters. A small chest freezer will also be available.

If music is in your present or future you will enjoy the Harmony guitar with case and the Yamaha electronic key board with its own seat. Both have seen very little use.

In the bedrooms are a full size mahogany pineapple bed frame, a wrought iron daybed that is also a trundle bed and a very reasonable king size mattress and box springs. There will be dressers and night stands.

We will be selling several vintage and antique quilts as well as linens and very sweet antique baby clothes. There are several beautiful comforters for twin, full and king beds. One special Hidden Treasure we found are the two vintage Hudson’s Bay blankets from Maine. No moth holes and gauranteed to keep you warm on the coldest of nights.

Another very nice surprise is the Sonya Hinny doll from the early 1930’s with her original skating outfit. Nice pieces of jewelry and some new ladies shoes size 7 including a pair of custom made snakeskin shoes. 

We also found some great memribilla pieces and some super collecable information regarding the Dion Quintripplets from the early 40’s.

White washed wicker love seat, two chairs and table will be priced to sell right away. The seats will probably need new cushions. On the deck is Weber gas grill with cover and an umbrella for the glass top table.

This will be a fun sale with some very interesting items at reasonable prices. We will look forward to seeing you on Saturday. The sale location is easy to find just a block off the road to Silver Beach. Look for the pink and black directional signs.

Numbers will be handed out for admittance to sale at 8:00 A.M. on Saturday. On Sunday numbers will handed out for admittance to the sale at 11:30 A.M.

This home belongs on the pages of Architectural Digest magazine. The interior houses some of the finest furnishings we have seen in a long while.

You will find up-scale collectables, interesting books including several Virginia historical volumes. It is well worth the short jaunt to experience this magnificent home well situated on the water and filled with so many Hidden Treasures. Don’t miss this one.

As you enter you will see an extremely large collection of some of the finest music ever recorded. It is a record collection that will make everybody happy. The albums are in wonderful condition. The array of music includes in depth classical, Broadway shows, chamber music, concertos, the Rock Sound, the list goes on and on. 

The Thelma Peterson original painting of ducks on the Eastern Shore will remind you of why we live here. There is an original Willie Crockett that will be available too. Other fine artworks showcases George Washington titled “The Home Of Washington” and a beautifully framed vintage children’s portrait done in needlepoint. 

There are several Vintage Oriental Rugs including room size, a very long runner and several smaller rugs. All are beautiful and display vibrantly rich colors.

The dining room table is perfect for entertaining. It has two 24 inch leaves and when open will easily seat 12 – 14. Eight beautiful dining room chairs will be available also and will make a second to none addition to the table. There are six side chairs and two arm chairs.
